The inspiration
From Nicole Sharma, INXVIII EVENTS
This shoot was created to inspire brides that have had to adjust the vision of their wedding day due to the effects of the pandemic. We decided to showcase a civil ceremony with a limited guest list and a few personal touches proving love can never be cancelled.
This styled shoot centres around a South Asian Wedding with a forest inspired rustic, romantic décor that is further accented by touches of modernity and luxury. This concept is for the discerning South Asian bride who incorporates culture while adhering to her love for a nature-inspired vision. Lush floral ceremony arches, luxe wedding invitation suite with custom vow books as well as a romantic, floral dessert table brings together the theme perfectly.
The details
- The colour palette is Mint green, pink, peach and tones of brown and green.
- The veil was custom made for this shoot to exactly match the softer tones of blush on the saree.
- Fresh floral arrangements and a custom-made ceremony structure created the perfect special touch to the civil ceremony.
- Vintage stamps were sourced specially by the stationery vendor as a nod to the South Asian origins of the couple.
